It’s that time of year again! The holiday season is here and the time has come to think of some gift ideas for our loved ones.
This year however is quite unique since most of us will still be working from home for the foreseeable future. Now I know how overwhelming it can be to think up useful gift ideas for others. To help you out, I thought I would share some of my favorite gift ideas for the remote workers in your life.

Holiday Gift Guide for Remote Workers
Price Range $-$$
Motivational Journal
Self-care and staying motivated is so challenging and important this year. This journal may say it’s for women, but it can be for anyone. It asks the tough questions and makes you truly think about what you want in the future. This couldn’t be more necessary right now when so many remote workers and non remote workers may be feeling like they can’t set goals when the present is so tough. I recommend this gift to help people see that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Plenty of good things are to come!

Planner
Is anyone else obsessed with planners? I absolutely love them and I know other remote workers like myself enjoy writing things down throughout their workday. I will recommend two of my personal favorites here. Currently I am using the planner below with the palm design as I prefer a lightweight planner, but the heavier floral day designer is also excellent. I love how not only is this a planner, it also has pages for budgeting, goals, inspiration, and reflections.
Bonus tip: Another great place to check out is your local HomeGoods if you have one in your area!
Headphones
Seriously (not sponsored) best 17 bucks I have ever spent, but now I believe they are on sale for $13.68. Tip: If you download the Honey web extension, you can track pricing trends on Amazon. These wireless headphones have great sound quality and last a few days on a single charge. I couldn’t be happier with them.
Remote workers always need headphones for meetings or to avoid disturbing the rest of the household. Also, worth mentioning that these never fall out of my ears during exercise. Shout out to any readers that also struggle to keep air-pods in their ears!

Laptop Desk
Hey, this is a no judgement zone! Some days people might just not feel like getting out bed while working from home and that is totally okay. The pandemic has been rough on everyone. However, please don’t let your loved ones hurt their back by hunching over a traditional lap desk that isn’t adjustable. I’ve been there! That’s where this adjustable bed tray desk comes into play. Use it to work, have breakfast in bed, or craft even.

Ceramic Travel Mug
A great mug option will always be a welcome gift for anyone, but once we can start traveling more, your remote worker will love this insulated and chic mug even more. No only does it come in cute colors, it keeps your drinks nice and warm (or cool).

Wireless Charging Stand
I actually got this as a gift to myself a year back and have used it every single day. It saves so much chord space while working from home. I don’t have to swap outlets to charge all my electronics throughout the work day. Seriously this is a great gift for pretty much anyone remote worker or not.

Web Cam
Remote workers have been spending HOURS on platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet etc. There’s nothing worse than trying to have a professional meeting while your colleague can’t tell if they are looking at a person or pixel art. That’s where a quality webcam comes in handy. Any remote worker would appreciate this gift idea.

Wearable Blanket Hoodie
Let’s be real, barely anyone is dressing in office attire while working from home. Winter is nearly here so staying nice and cozy in this oversize blanket hoodie will help keep your loved one’s spirits up. Embrace the snuggie.

Standing Desk
Want to spend a little extra on your loved ones this year? This standing desk is a good option for a remote worker that wants to reduce the amount of time they spend sitting each work day. For $149.99 it is a great option for an adjustable standing desk. I have this myself and it helped me through a time when I was having some back issues while working in the office. It can even be lowered back down if the person needs to sit again.

Portable Monitor
Does your loved one have a small display on their work laptop? This is a common struggle for those working remotely during the pandemic. I do a lot of finance work and getting myself a monitor was the best investment for my eyesight and general well being. They will definitely love the idea of not having the tire their eyes staring at a small screen to complete their daily work routine. The best part of this is that you can travel with it once the pandemic is over.

Adjustable Exercise Bike
Looking to splurge? This exercise bike/desk is priced as $349.99. If I didn’t already have an exercise bike, I think I would have looked into this option had I known I’d be working from home for over a year! #pandemiclife
